  1. How many cities is VolksHelp operational in?

Currently, we are present in Gurgaon only. We're expanding our team rapidly and chances are that we will commence operations in your city soon. Like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter to be updated on where we are moving next.

  1. What are your timings to take work/ order?

We operate between 9 AM to 7 PM, 7 days a week, 365 days a year (except public holidays like 26 Jan, 15 Aug, 02 Oct, etc.).

  1. Are the service providers you send qualified?

Absolutely! We aggregate the best service providers across our areas of operation, certify their skill sets, conduct a background check and train them on soft skills before connecting them to customers on need basis. Most of them have more than 5 years of experience in his/her field.

  1. Is VolksHelp accountable for job quality?

Our Experts are 100% accountable for the job undertaken. However, in case of anything going wrong, we are committed to provide additional services with no extra charges needed to correct, repair or re-service it.

  1. Do you offer warranty on your work?

Depending on the work a warranty is provided by the service provider only.

In general, we offer a 7 day warranty from the date of invoice on all repairs. You need not pay Labour charges in case of a rework within that 7 day period. However, if any spare part/material is needed for rework, the cost would have to be borne by you.

  1. Does someone have to be at home when our Expert comes home or while the work is getting done?

We strongly recommend YES as our experience tells us that Expert's on-site queries / clarifications are best handled if you are around.

  1. What about theft of personal belongings?

Although our Experts are professionally trained, background verified & thoroughly checked, still in case of any theft, VolksHelp is not accountable. Our strong advice to you is to make sure that all your belongings are carefully kept in a secure location. Please make sure that any sensitive material is carefully moved under your supervision only. Also, when our Expert is leaving your premises, please make sure that you have thoroughly checked the entire home.

  1. What happens if the service provider does not arrive on time?

Please reach out to us on +91-82-87-900-800 and we will investigate the reason for delay and immediately arrange a replacement and schedule a time convenient to you or register a job cancellation with full refund of booking amount, in case you have pre-paid for the service requested.

  1. What if the requested job takes more than the estimated time?

We understand that your time is valuable and are always striving to limit the time spent by our experts at your home. However, the Experts are trained to update you if the job might take longer than expected. Please do expect a buffer of half an hour, more or less, than the stated time to complete the task and there is no price alteration that comes in within that margin of error. At the end of day, we leave it to your fair judgment to decide.

  1. How do I reschedule or cancel the job booked on VolksHelp?

We do understand that last minute changes may, at times, necessitate a reschedule or cancellation of job. However, you would also understand that once you have confirmed a job, Experts are assigned to the job and hence liable for a loss of income opportunity. To save the time of our experts and to avoid cancellation charges (VISITING CHARGES OF REQUESTED SERVICE), please reschedule or cancel the order as per the cancellation policy of particular service. Post that, you are liable to pay VISITING CHARGES OF REQUESTED SERVICE to make up for the loss that Expert would have to bear due to last minute cancellation. However, if the service provider is running late (Please refer cancellation policy) and you want to cancel the order, then the cancellation charges will NOT be applicable. Reschedule and cancellation requests can be made through VolksHelp platform (web/app/customer relation number).

  1. Do VolksHelp service providers bring their own equipment or will I have to arrange for it?

All service providers bring their own tools. However, basics such as ladder, cleaning cloth, water, electric points, spare parts etc. have to be made available at your end or bought on actuals before work starts. Please note that our experts can bring spare parts and other materials on request. To honor the time of our experts and good gesture this will be chargeable at a minimal cost of Rs. 50 – Rs. 100.

  1. How are the professionals rated or how do I share feedback?

After each service is completed, you are asked to rate our expert. Your feedback be positive or negative matters a lot to us. Your valuable feedback help us to constantly improve our services.
